Live User Pro 1.6 released |

I am glad to announce
that Live Users Pro 1.6 for Joomla has finally made its way to
daylight. Actually the 1.6 release has turned into a major rewrite of most of
the core code. This will not only improve server perfomance but allows for quite
a bit of new functionality in this and following versions.
Some of the new
features are:
- Module caching reduces
server load on peak times using Joomla's build in caching feature
- Support for (almost)
all popular private messaging systems
- JIM
- Missus PM
- My PMS 2x
- Primezillax
- Clexus
- Option to show the
total number of logged in users and guests
- Users can filter the
online list by gender (if enabled)
- Advanced error reports
to help you set up the module and offer assistence in case a problem
occurs
- Custom code for
userlist and tooltip
Additionally some
smaller improvements over the previous version have been
made
- HTML output is
formated cleaner than before
- CSS markup is now
fully W3C compliant (no more doublicate id's)
- Some smaller fixes in
the theme css files
- PNG's have been
converted to index transparency to enable better compatibility with older
browsers
- All files have been
renamed to reflect the name change from "Live Users" to "Live Users Pro"
allowing you to install this module side by side to eh previous version.
