There is news in the Joomla developement section: 

Live Users Pro 1.5 is here!
Having worked on it the last 48 hours to make it in time for the Easter holydays I finally made it and I think it's well worth it!

The biggest news is the complete redesign of the tooltip/contact card code now allowing for custom theming and design down to your unique style.

Additionaly some smaller bugs have been fixed and the language selection has been automized.

Of course all the good features of the prior versions have been kept!

I want to thank you for all support of my work.

Especially Oscar, vor bugreports and suggestions, Erik vor Alpha/Beta testing and Shane for his donation have to be named. Without them it wouldn't have been possible to realize this release in this timefrime.

As always bugreports, ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Joomla Developement: Live Users Pro 1.4 / mod_liveusers

Unfortunaltly there was more than the good weather to keep me from advancing the developement of the Live Users Pro module for Joomla.

But since the changes made may be quite useful for your site I decided to publish the current version none the less. In comparsion to version 1.3d following features have been added:

•  Choice of Username, name or chooseable CommunityBuilder field as identifier.
• In case of database error (wrong field names for example) the database error will be displayed instead of nothing at all

This changes fall short of what I originally had planned for this release but I hope to be able to include more in the next version.

Digital camera broken / Looking for a replacment. Photo sale. Offering webdesign for camera.

One main reason of the delay in mod_liveusers developement was the breakage of my trusty Konica Minolta Z3 digital camera. After having repaired a problem with the antishake mechanism and replacing a broken battery cover it now seems to be completly beyond repair.

Looking for a worthy sucessor my eye fell upon the Panasonic Lumix FZ50.

Since this camera is a bit out of my (small) budget right now this offers new chances for you: All pictures in my photo section are now for sale. If you are interested in any of them don't hesitate to contact me . Prices are low (as allways) so get them while they last.

Webdesign for camera: Maybe you are in need of a professional internet site and consider to upgrade your camera to a better model or you have access to sources for a new one. Since I recently discoverd that the name "JGroups" is allready used by a Javatoolkit I had to rename my JGroups project. Since there were no other proposals I choose the obvisous "JoomGroups! ". As it is only a project right now there are no further complications relating to the change.

I would like to apologzie for any inconvinience cause to the developers of the JGroups project. You can find their site at www.jgroups.org  

While working on some projects recently I noted that you quite often have to apply small patches to the system that are not included in the original distribution. This lead me to start the developement of JoomPatch! . This Joomla Developement is meant to manage the installation and removal of all the patches applied to your joomla system over time. It's still in the planing phase but I will keep you updated on the progess. 

Since the webpage of the Adventjunge in Lower Saxony and Bremen now has been online for over a month without any problems it has been due time to add it to my web portfolio.

The project isn't closed though since the further administration and developement is still in my hand.

If you have visited this site before you will probably notice that quite a bit of the content is now avaible in english in addition to the original german version. Though this is not true vor all sections exspecially the bits related to Joomla developement will be bilingual from now on.
